But, somehow i'm not convinced on the version #3.5, what's that x.5, i dont understand. When 3.1 came, when 3.2 came. If M$ felt they're giving silverlight, LINQ, etc. etc., they should club everything with .NET 3.0 and still .NET 2.0 is the runtime for 3.5 also, release it as .NET 4.0. Major version, minor version, build version & rev. version are all for us only, not for M$ i think.

This RC release for Silverlight is a follow-on to the 1.0 Beta that we delivered earlier this year at MIX. Once we get done with 1.0, we will focus more on the update for 1.1.

While I am happy to hear about the VS update, I was hoping we would see a Silverlight beta 1.1 in the mix. For me, Silverlight does not exist prior to 1.1a so anything 1.0 related has no value. Will be glad when 1.0 is finally over so we can get some serious betas of 1.1.
