For my internship I have to investigate the posibilities of the WCF LOB Adapter toolkit. Currently I'm implementing the MetaDataResolveHandler.

I'm trying to make an adapter that can invoke the functions from a .NET library using reflection. I have a problem with datatypes that inherit from a base class.

I have a Customer class that inherits from a Person class. The library contains a function GetPerson that can return a customer or some other class that derives from the person class.

Is it possible to use inheritance with the adapter toolkit? And if this is possible how do I fill the metadata objects in the adapter toolkit? I can't find a place where I can sum up the derived classes from a class.

thank you in advance,
