SharePoint Designer is now FREE + customers on Software Assurance get rights to Expression Web

SharePoint Designer is being made available as a free download, and SharePoint Designer customers on active Software Assurance will now get rights to Expression Web:

Although the current version of Expression Web does not support SharePoint editing, future versions will:

"While the current version of Expression Web does not directly support SharePoint, we are also making significant investments to ensure that future versions of Expression Web become an excellent choice for page customization of SharePoint sites."

What are your thoughts an opinions opinions on this as customers? Are you more likely to use SharePoint Designer, now that it is a free product, to build ontop of SharePoint with? I am always interested in getting a pulse for how real end-users feel about changes and announcements such as this. Certainly "free" is never a bad price. :)
