&lt;p&gt;Do I need Vista to use version 5.3 of the API? &amp;nbsp;A new version of Visual Studio perhaps? &amp;nbsp;Or is my system mis configured?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am trying to develop speech recognition application with Command and Control....but for the life of me i cant get it off the ground....my program is in C# &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I consider myself above average, but some how the Documentation has not been helpful to me... &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Would somebody in here please direct me as to how to go about it... &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. I want do create InProc, &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Set the Input to a device of my choice&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Create the Instance and Recognition&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Build the grammar&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If only I could get the first part going &amp;nbsp;or if somebody can help me with the declaration as it pertains to C#&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am using SAPI 5.1 in my asp.net application. It works fine in my system(windows XP), when i moved to my code in windows 2003 server and test, i am getting &amp;quot;Can not set voice. The voice is not installed... ). But i installed Speech API in the server too.. But i found the samples are working fine in server.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Help me to resolve this issue.&lt;/p&gt;
