I downloaded the Windows SDK DVD and installed it in on my XP system, but when I open Visual Studio 2002 and go to add a reference, I don't see version 5.3 of the speech API listed.

Do I need Vista to use version 5.3 of the API? A new version of Visual Studio perhaps? Or is my system mis configured?

Hello,

I am trying to develop speech recognition application with Command and Control....but for the life of me i cant get it off the ground....my program is in C#

I consider myself above average, but some how the Documentation has not been helpful to me...

Would somebody in here please direct me as to how to go about it...

1. I want do create InProc,

2. Set the Input to a device of my choice

3. Create the Instance and Recognition

4. Build the grammar

If only I could get the first part going or if somebody can help me with the declaration as it pertains to C#

I installed everything, but I need to make one app work in both english and spanish. Where can I get a spanish engine?

I have XP, VS 2008 and I am targeting both Vista and XP users.

I am using SAPI 5.1 in my asp.net application. It works fine in my system(windows XP), when i moved to my code in windows 2003 server and test, i am getting "Can not set voice. The voice is not installed... ). But i installed Speech API in the server too.. But i found the samples are working fine in server.

Help me to resolve this issue.
