The speech developer community builds a home (and a tavern)

gotspeech.net is a new online community for speech developers, built by Marshall Harrison.  Marshall is a great authority on Microsoft Speech Server - he's helped countless people with answers to questions on the Speech Server newsgroup. As Marshall says about the new site:

This site is for you so don't hesitate to get involved. Some of the people you will find here are new to Speech Server and some are well known in the industry... Our primary focus is Microsoft Speech Server but we are open to all who are interested in speech.

The community spirit is already evident - just drop into the Speech Tavern - good luck guys!

Update 2006-03-18: Marshall comments that Brandon Tyler (another Speech Server expert) should also get the credit -- hats off to all concerned for launching this great community.

Thanks for the kind words.

But, Brandon Tyler with Intervoice deserves the credit also. We first started talking about this when we were in Redmond las October and despite some "birthing" pains it is finally live.
