SpeechTek 2006
SpeechTek is the biggest speech industry conference of the year, August 7-10 in NYC. I'll be talking at a couple of sessions:
The first will be a general, moderated discussion of speech analytics and tuning principles. The second is a much deeper dive into the forthcoming Speech Server 2007 designers and analytics tools, which will include a lot of demos of our tools and applications (like Outlook Voice Access).
If you're coming to SpeechTek, let me know. Are there any topics you'd like either of these sessions to address? I'd be happy to include them. Got questions, suggestions or comments on the MSS tools? I want to hear them.
Look out as well for an exciting announcement at Rich Bray's keynote on Tuesday morning, plenty of Microsoft speakers, and exhibition staff giving demos of Speech Server and Windows Vista.
(By the way, anyone got a replacement for what was the undisputed highlight of the SpeechTek after-parties of years past - the Rhetorical Systems whisky-tasting party? It didn't happen last year: Rhetorical must have forgotten to include a continuity clause in their acquisition agreement with Nuance. A severe loss to the community.)
