David Pogue loses his voice

Oops, David Pogue (the NY Times technology columnist who uses SR dictation software) lost his hard drive! All drives fail eventually and he was prepared with backups of all his important files, except he never backed up his Dragon Naturally Speaking trainiing files. Of course the super-serious DNS professionals run into this problem all the time and prepare themselves, but it reminds me of a reason I can't wait till Windows Vista, when we have a great speech experience plus all the integrated backup features (including speech).
