Interview with ComputerWorld Romania

Here I am in the headset microphone, giving a demo of Windows Vista for the Editor-in-Chief of Computerworld Romania

That's Julia and Fil with me. The three of us answered some questions about the Speech & Natural Language group, our long-term plans, and some of our thoughts about Romania and our interest in making more of our technologies available in the local language.

If you can read Romanian, click here for the entire interview.  (Then send me a translation, please, so I know what we said!)

I am a Romanian (living in Canada) so I have read the article. So you are evaluating the opening of a "Natural Language Group" center in Romania? Interesting ...

I have just started to explore the speech capabilities (both TTS and speech recognition) in WinFX (see the chess game from my webpage) and I must say I am impressed ... the basic tasks are easy to implement.

Well, we don't know exactly which countries we'll pursue, but we're definitely interested in Romania as a possibility. I'll keep you posted.
