Microsoft TV

I worked in the MSTV division for many years before I moved to Redmond last year to join the speech & natural language group, so I'm a big fan of their products and I always cheer for their business. That's why it's encouraging to get positive press like this article in the Seattle Times.
I especially like the quote from my old boss, Moshe Lichtman:
"I like to think that what we do is 100 percent goodness for humanity, but since my 15-year-old daughter increased her TV consumption almost two fold, I'm wondering about that," Lichtman said.
TV is a mainstream technology used by virtually everyone on earth, generally for hours and hours each day, and compared to that, it's harder to explain to my mother what I do here in speech & natural language, but it will be fun to watch the future and see how many of our language components we can sneak into products like
MSTV.
