So much to blog

I've slowed my blogging pace lately while I catch up on what I really want to accomplish with this blog. Now that there are so many excellent speech and natural language bloggers, it's becoming harder to keep track of all of the great feeds out there, and I'm trying to decide how to restructure my blog to make it more relevant to the people I want to reach.

It's not as though there's nothing interesting to say. I could talk about our recent organization change that put us into the Office group at Microsoft, under Steven Sinofsky (who has his own frequently-updated blog). Or the recent all-hands event last week in the Speech & Natural Language team, when we all watched Blade Runner (Director's Cut, of course). Or that funny Saturday Night Live video about IVR from a few weeks back. Or the fascinating internal Microsoft paper I just read on what we are expecting for computing hardware in 2010. But my own blogroll is getting terribly long, and I'm sure many of you have long blogrolls too and are going to have to cut down on the number of feeds you read.

Why should you keep reading me? Let me know what you think. What more would you like to know about speech and natural language at Microsoft?
