Why Vista won't suck

ExtremeTech has this review of reasons to be excited about Vista:

How about some built-in speech recognition? That's right, Vista will include a built-in speech recognition engine, and new and improved speech synthesis. Assuming it works as well as it should, you'll be able to dictate emails or give voice commands for web navigations without buying additional speech recognition software.

And now that I'm using it every day, I can tell you that yes it does work as well as it should.

I smell another lawsuit against Microsoft for the built-in speech recognition...

A lawsuit?  Because we're so good?  or so bad? Maybe people will become so hooked on our SR that the keyboard manufacturers will sue us for taking away their business.  :-)

A lawsuit for building it into Windows and not having it available as a seperate download. I don't mind but it's 'the others' who live on our island that might have problems with this.
