Watch Research videos

Inside Microsoft, we're blessed with a daily banquet of interesting speakers who come to talk with us about issues of the day, ranging from technology (of course) to politics, to art and more. I've mentioned some of these talks previously (like the one from Ray Kurzweil), usually when I take the trouble to show up in person. But I also watch them online, since nearly all of them are recorded and available to us on our internal corporate net.

Well I just found out that the Research Channel is a non-profit organization that publishes many of our presentations on a web site that anyone can watch. They publish lots of other talks from other research labs and universities too.

I mentioned the Computation Linguistics consortium the other day. Well, you can watch that too.  The latest one is not posted yet but the previous one, from February, is up there right now.
