Updated Treo software-- now I'm getting PUSHed

I've been enjoying my Treo 700W for about three months now, and I'm happy to report that it just got better. Verizon and Palm just released the updated 1.10 software that includes the Microsoft Messaging and Security (MSFP), that among other things updates my device email inbox as soon as a new message arrives.  The old software had to poll the server every so often (I had mine set to every 30 min), which means it could be as much as a half-hour delay or more before I knew that an important message had arrived.

I just didn't have time to install the update on Thursday when it came out, so I finally got around to it this morning. Palm has pulled the update from their download site for some reason (apparently several people have had problems with it), but fortunately I had already downloaded it yesterday and just needed to install it. I had no problems whatsoever. No hard resets required. I'm just back in business with new software that's a little zippier and way more useful now that it gives me my email immediately.

By the way, Voice Command is now slightly better because now it initializes on a higher-priority thread and therefore boots slightly faster. It's still the same core engine (v1.5), though.
