Cell phone radiation and Treo

CNET has a summary of the radiation levels for various cell phones, including PocketPC phones like my Treo 700w.

For a phone to pass FCC certification, that phone's maximum SAR level must be less than 1.6W/kg (watts per kilogram). In Europe, the level is capped at 2W/kg. The SAR level listed in our chart represents the maximum SAR level with the phone next to the ear, a level obtained through required FCC tests.

My Treo 700w scores 1.26, which is comfortably below the maximum, but quite a bit higher than other phones.

Personally I don't believe a cell phone is any riskier than any other device that is used responsibly. I use a bluetooth headset and rarely hold it up to my ear anyway.  And I already have three healthy kids, so it's too late for there to be any reproductive damage from having it in my pocket.
