What's the best microphone for speech?

I like eMicrophones advice.  Marty Markoe says Sennheiser hand-held MD431II is the best there is for demos (for $350 it better be).

For a cheaper option, most new people in the speech group are issued the Plantronics DSP400 ($80), though Marty will tell you that that's best for small, quiet offices.

I completely agree about the Sennheiser. I have one for demos and it is amazing. The on/off switch in particular can come in very handy, as speech demos have a way of needing you to stop and explain something without messing the demo up.
