More speech demos

Terry Gold has more details about the Microsoft keynote.  He did a live demo right after Rob's and it worked flawlessly too.

Meanwhile, Long Zheng, a student in Australia, has posted his own video (QuickTime) of Vista Speech Recognition.  When you try Vista, you'll see that it's actually pretty hard to get it to screw up.  Long's demo is interesting because it shows how we still do quite well even on a non-US accent.

Hello Richard:

I really do appreciate the updates that you're providing about Vista speech.  I watched the demo that you linked to end it was very impressive.  It would be really great to see a demo of Rob Chambers demonstration at SpeechTEK.  I'm a Dragon NaturallySpeaking user and have been for a number of years.  I'm very excited about Vista speech.  The demonstrations of Vista look even more exciting than might utilization of Dragon.  Outposts and more comments later.

Apparently yes, a video was made of the speechTek presentation, but I haven't seen it yet and I'm trying to find out if/when we can show it to everyone.  I'll post it if/when I can.
