Automated commenting as I read
I was supposed to be in a training class all day today, but it was just cancelled, so I have a few moments to catch up on my blog. This Live Writer thing makes it unbelievably easy.
I follow lots of blogs, usually in an aggregator like Bloglines, but one of my annoyances is that there doesn't seem to be a fast/easy way to quickly post a comment.
For example, Rob Chambers has been posting a few things about TTS lately that deserve a few additional comments. As you know, one of our PMs, Jay Waltmunson, has been running a TTS-specific blog for about a year now, so I wanted to remind Rob (and his readers) that Microsoft keeps a list of many of the TTS companies that we know of for SAPI. Our Italian friends at Loquendo are there of course, as well as the company that wins my award for best name: Cepstral. (that's an inside joke to you SR experts).
Anyway, those are some comments I would have posted to Rob's blog if there were an easy way to do it from within an aggregator. Anybody know of something better than Bloglines or Newsgator that will let me easily add comments as I go through RSS feeds?
