Don't talk dirty to MobileVoiceControl
This new Blackberry software (reported by WashPost and CNet) from MobileVoiceControl sounds pretty cool. Subscribe on your Sprint NextTel phone (like the Treo 700p) and not only can you do most of what you get with Windows Mobile Voice Command, you can do simple 20-word dictation, so you don't have to type emails -- just speak them!
But what's with this fine print in their Terms of Service?
To interpret subscriber commands MobileVoiceControlâ„¢ utilizes both machine and human recognition systems. MVC does not guarantee the accuracy of its responses to user commands/requests. Also, there are some words/phrases that MobileVoiceControlâ„¢ will not transcribe or respond. Such commands/requests include, but are not limited to, commands/requests that conflict with confidentiality laws, privacy laws, indecency laws, or are potentially harmful in nature or that violate any other such regulations, guidelines, or laws.
I wonder if they publish a list of the words you're not allowed to say?
