Nokia: Knock-ia or Know-kia?

One more thing about the company meeting:  two separate executives pronounced the Finnish phone maker like "knock-ia".  I've always thought it was "know-kia".  One of the execs, Pieter Knook, is European, so I assumed that was some European pronunciation.

But my eyes widened when Bill Gates himself said "Knock-ia".  Is that right?

Update: As always, Bill is correct. In addition to the comments (thanks!) several people emailed me to confirm the knock-ia pronunciation and point me to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia
