Frank Seide on Channel 9

Some people have been wondering what happened to that Scoble interview that Frank Seide (from MSRA) did a while back.  Well, that particular video is still unpublished but you can get an idea of what Frank has been up to by looking at another Channel9 video he did in Japan.

It's pretty cool: look through 2500 hours of video files and spot key words that have been indexed using our speech indexing technology.

Hello Richard:

The video with Frank and Microsoft speech recognition for video content is very exciting.  I especially like the idea of being able to search professors video lectures for specific content which one would like to review.  Also the accuracy of the speech recognition was extremely impressive.  Congratulations to Microsoft and Microsoft Beijing.
