No school today

The early winter ice and snow in the Seattle area has closed the schools.  Then Microsoft sent this message to employees:

The MICROSOFT Facilities in Puget Sound,

including satellite areas (SAMM, Millennium, etc.)

will have LIMITED SERVICES due to Snow/Ice conditions in the local area

No cafeteria, no receptionists -- though fortunately Bill will still answer the phones (he's the voice on our automated attendent).

It took me several hours to get home last night, thanks to icy roads and lots of traffic, and I am sooooo glad not to be out there right now.  This is a good day to catch up on stuff.

Enjoy the time off from work.

It's sunny and in the 70's here in Florida.
