Stop listening

Much as I would love to tell you what I think about the obvious events in the news lately, there are a few things you'll never hear me bring up in this blog.  Just like my mom taught me never to talk in public about politics, sex, or religion, I don't talk about personnel issues; you won't hear me speculate on the latest rumors about people or reorgs at Microsoft  -- I leave that to PR and HR.   And I don't talk about specific security threats; get your facts from the official channels.

Believe me, I can give you an earful on any of these subjects.  Just not on my blog.  Of course, you could join our team and then I'm happy to talk all day.

Incidentally, Rob Chambers just switched jobs and now works in the office next to mine.  (Oops, there I go talking about a personnel issue)  He knows a lot more about Vista speech issues than I do and I think he'll have something to say soon, so be sure to subscribe to his blog.
