Misty in Syracuse

This week is the start of our first big post-RTM push to meet with representatives from the press who want to get an in-depth peek at Response Point.  My stop today is in Syracuse, New York, where I was surprised to see people carrying umbrellas and bundled up in raincoats.  For somebody like me who's been living in Seattle for a while, the slight mist in the air this morning didn't seem like anything unusual, but I guess people around here aren't used to the rain.

Meanwhile, I'm happy to say that all my equipment arrived and is ready for demos.  One of the best things about this system, compared to others I've worked on in my life, is that it's awfully robust.  The all solid-state design of the base unit means that very little can go wrong, even with the system getting banged up on the plane or left outside in the rain waiting for a taxi.

I'll be going to Boston later this afternoon (Tuesday).  Let me know if you're in the Boston area on Wednesday morning and would like to see Response Point -- I'd love to show it to you too.
