For anybody who hasn't actually written non-trivial software, it might seem like the contest window that we've allowed for submissions is HUGE! The rest of us know that it's probably not enough time to do what you want to accomplish (i.e. writing a winning collection of SQL Server 2008 implementation guidance or coding up a winning application entry). Since there Never Is Enough Time™. Heh.

The fact that you have a day job, a family, hobbies, vacation, whatever is still no excuse for not getting started!! Think of the HP MediaSmart Windows Home Server that you could win!!! Heh.

[My apologies to the process snobz for using all the wrong symbols for all the wrong things in my timeline above. I picked the Visio timeline symbols that looked "purty" and seemed appropriate to my non-PMP self.]

Anyway, I recommend that you get started early and often if you want to win.

After all... tempus fugit!

It's Official™! The T-shirts are in and locked away in the super-secret swag vault somewhere deep in the bowels of Building 35...

* Yes, I wish that I could've gotten the contest launched in time to be "in the box" with the Community Launch kits, but...
