will the future drop contain the synchonization features (dataset/datatable based) featured in Steve Lasker's recent presentations

Found this posted December 15th: "SQL Server Compact Edition RTW (release to web) will happen in December".

Has any thought been giving to issuing a "go-live" type of license for SSCE? Our apps are built, tested, and ready to go, but our customers don't want to deploy to tablet OS until the license says it is ok to do so.

This is an excellent "little db that could" - fits snugly into the small footprint, in proc only (no system service), arena. Frankly, I've personally been waiting a long time for something like this from Microsoft....you yes, "it's about time" :)

Similar to some posts, we already have a fully functional app based on RC1 so hopefully, licensing and functionality aren't going to be issues ("go live" for the former, and adverse changes on the latter).

SQL Server Compact Edition will be released to web on 11th January 2007.

For Runtime binary, we will be refreshing RC1 link hence RC1 bits will not be availble on web on Jan 10th.

We will be releasing following packages in 10 languages (English, chinese -simplified, chinese - traditional, spanish, korean, japanese, french, german, russian and italian);

SSCE Runtime

SSCE Developer SDK

SSCE Server tools

SSCE tools for VS 2005 SP1 and

SSCE Books on line

Can ye not make up your minds?

I am wondering the compatiblity of sql everywhere and sql server...

Here is a sql generated by NHibernate and work well

in sql server but in sql every where there is an error message said:

Also another question for sql everywhere, does it support parameterize sql like

insert into TemplateTable(Name, classTable) values (?, ?)
