The Top 16 teams have been announced!  If you have received an email from us, you have made it to the next round.  Congratulations to the semi-finalists!  In this next round, you will be developing prototypes of the proposals that you submitted.

Tips

• Think about this year's theme.  How does your solution use software to enable better education for all?  You must be able to answer this question clearly and crisply.
• The judges' for the semi-finalists are your respective directors and deans.  You must be able to convince them on many levels: the problem you are addressing is real, the idea you have is sound, the prototype you built actually solves the problem, etc.
• Work hard!  I think this goes without saying, but you're not going to win if you're not willing to put in the time and effort.
• Use mentors wisely.  Get a mentor if you don't already have one.  I'm sure your respective schools will be more than happy to help out.  But don't get too many.  Too many = many different opinions and that's the last thing you want.
