My Out Of Office messages have taken on a bit of a life of their own and have a cult following here at Microsoft. Here is a personal favourite:

I will be out of the office until October10th on business roaming in Rome. My Windows Mobile smartphone will be set to stun due to meetings hence I will not have immediate access to email. I shall be resisting the temptation to fumble with my device beneath the table during these meetings so my response may be delayed. Please excuse this brief interlude in service and rest assured your message will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
