Now this could get very interesting. I'm helping kick off a Microsoft UK project to look at partners of the future that we'd like to work with focused around companies taking advantage of Web 2.0 innovations and our own technologies like dev.live.com, Office Live, Vista and  more. With ourselves and other companies like Google, Amazon, Yahoo and many others releasing free services to the web that others can mashup there are a tonne of potential new applications out there being built and new business models being thought of to support them. I'm calling this Channel 2.0 until i can come up with a better name as there is a whole new channel of partners that we need to go find, work with, support and listen to.

Sam Sethi is running the UK show and is ex-Microsoft UK and also a Liverpool fan (which helps!) so hopefully I'll run in to him at BarCamp or something similar soon!
