Scoble on Life After Microsoft
Page 3 has the good bits for me (but not in The Sun kind of way for UK readers). Notably Robert's views on how blogs and podcats can impact training and corporate communications. We're using it for the former at Microsoft Ltd. and I wish I could convince the execs to use it more for the latter. We have some really passionate articulate folks like Scott Dodds here in the UK and that man should be on a podcast somewhere talking about our business. I'll see if we can snag him for Partner-TV and get his views on Microsoft compared to his previous company, Acer.
It's also interesting is Robert's views on where Google will impact Microsoft. I didn't realize Google Earth had such low penetration given it's used by organizations like Sky News and The Times of London. I'm not totally sold on the notion that small businesses will use free stuff like GMail and Writely as I think that assumes a level of technical awareness that may exist in the US but less so in the UK from my experience.
To be honest, this is the most interesting stuff I've heard from Robert since he left as it seems he's been heads down doing his PodTech thing. Good luck to him!
