I was driving around Shoreditch this weekend a spotted a few of the maestros pieces though the best one I saw was just off Farringdon Road (photo coming soon). I can't believe it didn't appear in his book.

Last week his Warhol style Moss piece was sold at Sothebys for £50,400 (I didn't buy it) and it makes me wonder what his real stuff would sell for as I actually think the Moss work is one of his poorer pieces. I suppose that's the commercial nature of art though.

Meantime, a beach back in the hood (Liverpool) has a load of naked blokes standing on it. Needless to say the council wants them removed which is a shame. I hope the guys setup a website to collect votes to keep them. Along with the huge ? on Cammel Lairds shipyard building I think this kind of urban art is long overdue in the 2008 City of Culture.
