"Britons keen for their homes to be digital playgrounds will soon be able to call on specially-trained tradesmen"

Back to school for me! I can now get a qualification in what I've been doing for free for years. My brother should be teaching this course in fact!

The University of Central England (Birmingham for the geographically challenged) will be one of the first to offer the Digital Home Technology Integrator course as reported by the BBC last week. I've long thought there is a market for this whole "digital plumber" lark here in the UK and wonder how much of this the Geek Squad and Tech Guys will get up to. Will there still be room for a local man in a van approach? I think so.

The beta exam for this qualification is now available and I'm thinking we should make it a pre-requisite for anyone looking to join my team :)
