Steve, if you are looking to start a beta program here in Blighty. Can you get a couple of iPhones?  I'm offering my free services to test that thing called the iPhone that no one has heard of ;-))

More importantly, does it render Facebook properly!

You are maing a big mistake here, the iPhone is a piece of crap. The buttons are difficult to use (one of the worst is the SMS feature) and if anything goes wrong, you will be stuck with a 135g glass brick.

You must rememeber, it is locked to AT&T and you have to pay a whopping $175 contract pullout fee, if you what to leave you $60 a month contract.

The iPhone costs $600 plus minimum $50 a month for 12 months. And you can't use it in the UK without paying international roaming costs.

If you want to pay upward of 1000GBP to use a phone for a year - be my guest :)

No, jamiet it is twenty-four month contract, not 12 month. 18 to 24 month contracts are the norm in the US, not the year long here.
