Not a great deal as it happens but I do take a keen interest in product (industrial) design and branding and it's good to see our branding slowly changing. Much of this is down to David Webster who has been instrumental in moving us from product names like Windows XP 64-Bit Edition for 64-Bit Extended Systems to Surface and Silverlight. As you've no doubt seen by now, the parody video of what would happen if Microsoft created the iPod packaging is actually a pretty good example of how far we've come (in some areas) and how far the wrong way we'd gone.

It's a tricky balance when you have so many products but we're heading in the right direction, not only with names but packaging and logos. At last!
