I don't think you can just shrug off the 'shame it's not Silverlight' thing, Steve; this isn't the first, and it almost certainly won't be the last. Does it matter? - yes, people are noticing. Me for example. In my work with clients, I'm frequently asked 'should we go with product X or Y?'. Evidence like this doesn't exactly encourage me to recommend Silverlight over Flash.

Maybe we need a new Hugh cartoon. 'Microsoft: change the world, or buy a copy of Adobe CS3 on your way home.'
