I’m testing Live Mesh on a number of devices right now – both PC and mobile. It got me wondering if an iPhone client is out there in the future as I’m also playing with an iPod Touch courtesy of my recent blog award – thanks Computer Weekly!

We have an original iPhone in the household and I spent last week hooking it up to my Exchange Labs account and despite it not supporting all the features Windows Mobile does such as flags and DRM it serves my purpose of being able to share calendar requests and send the odd email.

What’s clear from this is the trend for seamlessly connecting the devices in your digital world. Take a look at Angus’s recent post to get a sense of the similar range of devices I have in my Live Mesh device ring – PC’s, Mac’s, mobile phones, Media Centre.

It’s incredibly useful and stress relieving to keep all of the devices in my (and my family’s) digital world in sync. It makes me wonder though:

Are we in the process of killing off the memory stick?
