Steve Yi, Azure Services Platform
Steve Yi is a director of product management for the Azure Services Platform at Microsoft Corp. Steve is responsible for product strategy in Microsoft’s cloud computing initiatives. He also actively solicits feedback from customers, industry partners and analysts, incorporating the resulting data into the development process to help ensure that Microsoft’s cloud service offerings meet the real-world needs of customers, partners, and software developers.
While at Microsoft, Steve has worked in a variety of roles, including consulting, partner business development, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior experience includes extensive web and enterprise application development while consulting to Fortune 500 companies utilizing Microsoft, Java, and open-source technologies, as well as being a published technical columnist.
Steve received his MBA from Southern Methodist University and currently resides in Redmond, WA.
