Saved by ElephantDrive

On my home systems I have been using ElephantDrive to provide automated off-site backups of my computers.  When my Windows XP system failed and would not boot, I had to restore the entire OS from system files.  Because I was using ElephantDrive, I was able to restore all of the important data that I had on the system.  For all of you out there who don't have a reliable, off-site backup strategy in place, I would highly recommend ElephantDrive.  One less thing to worry about in 2008.

# re: Saved by ElephantDrive

Thanks for the post.  Were you able to restore all your programs/applications and windows system files as well?  If so, what was the process, i.e., did you do a clean install of windows and then simply restore all the files from elephant trunk?

I appreciate your response in advance.  We are evaluating elephant trunk right now.  So fare we really like it and are trying to find the answer to the questions above.

Thanks,

-Will
