Migration?

While recently discussing TFS migration, it was suggested to me that I create a blog to enable TFS users to share their thoughts/experiences/problems/suggestions with our team here at MS... and, voila!  The TFS migration blog was born.

I think this blog should be a place for the TFS community to discuss the issues surrounding migration.  First, I should probably clarify migration.  To me, migration involves transitioning a team of developers/testers/program managers/designers from one set of software practices to TFS.  To many, the biggest concern in this transition is version control conversion.  While this is a substantial piece of the pie, it doesn't fully address all of the processes tied into a given team's software development life cycle.  Document management, bug tracking, and task scheduling are just a few examples of the types of items that are not source code, but are involved in migrating between software configuration management systems.

Migration is a big concern for many, if not all, teams using TFS, so please, post your comments and give your feedback.
