Dammit, I am stereotyping myself in a bad way here, but this is just so damn cool. George Lucas has said he has "just begun work" on a live-action television series based in the Star Wars Universe.

Got to feel sorry for George on the three prequels, there was certainly a lot of dissent with the fans, indicating that they thought they were worse than episodes 4-6. However when I think about it, could it be that the criticism was that much louder because of things like the Internet and blogging. There was certainly no vehicle for criticism as prevalent as the Internet back in 1977 when "A New Hope" came out.
It certainly seems these days, people who want to voice their complaints and criticism appear to be more vocal now, and yet the number who praise and congratulate are few and far in between. Its an interesting way commentary on the Internet is going these days...
