This is cool stuff, Mainsoft is releasing technology that will enable Microsoft's ASP .NET AJAX technology on Java supported platforms such as Linux. This is enabled through their new release of "Mainsoft for Java EE version 2.2".
In a nutshell this means that developers can use Visual Studio to develop web applications using ASP.NET AJAX and deploy to either Windows or Linux.
