Mr. Rizzo,

Please update the SharePoint Designer 2007 install requirements document on the product site to include .NET Framework 3.0 since it is needed for designing workflows.  Even better, add it to the installer and the next product update.

After three months of getting my company (Lockheed) to install a copy of SharePoint Designer, I now find it completely useless since you cannot design workflows without .Net 3.0.  Because you did not package this with the application install disc my company considers this separate software and it will take at least a year to get that separately approved.

Sincerely,

Trevor Lowing

There are rumors that MSFT is releasing a fine grain entitlement/policy product for Sharepoint.  Cuz currently enterprises are having to go to other vendors to fill this void in Sharepoint.  Is it true the MSFT will have something?
