One thing we must love in ms ctp's... always expect to be a big trash.
Winfx unistaller just creates restore points and send 17mb error report files... WinFx Runtime Components... unexpected errors... 8mb error report... What's next? but well, this is just because is an beta, right?

Btw, I just love the new big buggy VS2005 RTM.

mrlinx: this is not a beta this is a ctp. CTP's are by their very nature broken. With beta releases there is an effort made to fix some bugs and at least get things somewhat stable, with the CTP there is not such guarentee.

MrLinx, I'm sorry you're experiencing problems. BTW, you don't need to use this uninstaller unless you're unable to manually uninstall a previous release of WinFX. Please send me mail if you've got any additional details to offer and I'll route it to the WinFX setup team. Thanks, Tim

Up until now I just had a problem, I was trying to animate a rectangle on the Loaded event and it didn't move :S I'm still unsure why. But this release shows you're going in the right direction. Good work :)

That's a good question, Niels. I don't think we've released the 64-bit version externally for this CTP. Let me check what the plans are for 64-bit drops and post back here. Stay tuned!

Yeah, great job getting it out but it's not up on MSDN subscriber downloads and it probably should be.

I see September's in there for WinFX (under Tools, SDKs, DDKs), but that's it.
