Congrats to the JHU Men's Lax Team!!!!

Sorry for the off-topic post, but us Johns Hopkins grads don't often get a chance to celebrate NCAA Division I championships.  In an exciting, nail-biting game, Hopkins defeated Duke 12-to-11 to reclaim the lacrosse crown.

After 3 consecutive losses mid-season, some wrote off the team and, more amazingly, even called for the firing of head coach Dave Pietramala.  I had the pleasure of attending Johns Hopkins at the same time as Dave, and if one thing is clear, you never write him off.  Also, tons of kudos to the team, who pulled together and showed the world, once again, what Hopkins lacrosse is all about.  (Hopkins now holds 9 championships, once again leading all other schools.)

So, to all of the Blue Jays fans out there -- enjoy!  (I just hope there isn't a riot that leads to the burning down of PJ's...)
