XBOX Wireless Adapter

Picked up the XBOX wireless adapter on Friday. Works very nicely. Setup was ok. It seems to work with WEP alright. I am also using MAC filtering and this didn't seem to work, although I am sure I have the correct MAC address specified. Anyhow, I had to disable filtering for the time being while I trashed River City in Mech Assault. I also noticed later that my laptop started having trouble staying connected to the wireless network and the trouble went away when I unplugged my XBOX adapter. I am wondering if the signal strength of the XBOX adapter is drowning out the signal coming from my laptop's wireless nic. Might also be the acute angle between the XBOX and my laptop relative to the access point. I feel like I am going to have to buy another year of XBOX Live as with the move I missed out on so much online gaming. Plus, the XSN stuff looks awesome and I have to try NBA Inside Drive on Live as my buddy Mark is the designer on that thing.
