Bringing the Olympics to the PC

I just read a really interesting article about how Microsoft is helping to bring the Olympics to the PC.  You can read the article here.

One of the amazing things about this is that Microsoft got involved in January and was able to make all of this happen since then.  The site NBCOlympics.com is powered by Silverlight.  This is the same technology that Major League Baseball is using to broadcast baseball games on the PC.

I’d recommend reading the article as it is fascinating to see how quickly they were able to get everything working and make it ready for the public.  And with the Olympics coming up, I hope everyone is able to go to the site and enjoy the games.
