EntLib supports all .NET TraceListeners, although the non-EntLib ones have some reduced functionality. I'm not sure whether the EntLib 4.0 team is doing any specific development or testing of this feature - you may want to post this question on codeplex.com/entlib.&lt;/p&gt;
