My friend
John Miller in Microsoft Research just got the project he works on "
Avalanche" posted on
Slashdot and
The Register, (The
National Enquirer and the
Weekly World News of the technology world respectively)
Avalance is a pretty cool Peer to Peer application to allow for "Swarming" Content download, simular to
Bittorent with enhancements to allow it to not hang on waiting for the last 20% to download.
