Note: You don't have to wait until the 15th to register - Prometric let me register now.

I do volunteer programming for a non-profit, so I plan on using Virtual Earth to supplement the membership locator.

# re: Virtual Earth Beta Exam

Tried to register for November but the prometric site won't let me pick any date outside of October for this exam.  Tried a half dozen centres.  Checked for other exams as seemed weird one test centre was free for the rest of October but fully booked for November...  And appears lots of space in first fortnight of November.

Date range they've got wrong?

# re: Virtual Earth Beta Exam

sorry was late my time when I posted the above - what it was meant to convey in an intelligible way was "I think Prometric have the date range for the exam wrong"

Matt, unfortunately I am lame and dont know anything about the product download itself - is different group all together. I think there is a Virtual Earth team blog and they'd be the right ones to ask.

Peter, I forwarded your mail on to make sure there is no funny business. Thanks for flagging, will let you know what I hear.

# re: Virtual Earth Beta Exam

I totally agree with Peter Read. I just called Prometric and they told me that the period ends Oct 31 and the test cannot be taken in November.

I told them that the beta exam period is officially until Nov 14 but they told me sth different...

The People Who Know Things, and Who Know People, tell me that as of this afternoon the record has been set straight and Prometric should be accepting registrations through November 14. THanks for flagging this you guys, and let me know if you still have trouble.
