# re: Register for Beta Exam 71-652: TS: Windows Server Virtualization, Configuring

Aww. I finally got my first official beta invite, and now Prometric is making my day miserable.

When trying to login i get the message:

"Duplicate emails. Please call customer service."

When trying to call the customer service number for Switzerland i get (translated):

"The number you're calling is unavailable. Please check the number and dial again."

I just hope Prometric can get this fixed before the end of the beta period.

Thanks Trika! I've been watching, laying in wait for something like this to surface!

I'm glad that it has so soon as well! :)

I put myself out a week, so I might have the opportunity to get some study in, as opposed to those 'overnight' type of exams...

What's the point of the regional restriction? That's as odd as the fact that you can't sit exams in China or India if you happen to be a foreigner there.

# re: Register for Beta Exam 71-652: TS: Windows Server Virtualization, Configuring

typically beta exams don't have much in the way of true "study guides" - I spend most of my time looking at webcasts, blogs, googling, and playing.

good luck folks - I'm scheduled for the 23rd (procrastination is a wonderful thing)

I'm glad you think this is nice. I didn't do anything, just for the record. I have nothing to do with these - I just post it if Jim or Jeff or Rob tells me we're good to share with the public.

In fact, I cringe at posting any beta stuff, because then I get all these questions and it freaks me out. But, OK, you're welcome.

My pleasure.

Bit disappointed, had registered to do this exam for this morning; when I got there was told that Prometric's server was broken and couldn't do it. Tried to rearrange with Prometric but was told that, as this was a beta exam, I couldn't rearrange it despite not having actually taken the exam.

Oh well, guess I'll have to wait for it to become a live exam - I guess that won't be for another three months or so?

Today i went and stated to do the exam... when i was in the 40th question with two hours left i received a message saying that i had only 5min to finish the exam, when i clicked ok, puff, i wasn't able to finish or review!

Now i'm waiting for a reply from Prometric to explain what happened? And if i still can repeat the exam! Never happen before, Trika can you say what's going to happen?

# re: Register for Beta Exam 71-652: TS: Windows Server Virtualization, Configuring

That is SO lame, I'm sorry to hear that happened. While you're waiting for Prometric to repsond - will you please report this problem to MSLEDP@microsoft.com so someone on our side can be aware of this type of issue? Sorry again for the trouble and I hope it gets resolved really quickly by Prometric.

Thursday, June 12, 2008 4:01 PM by Ricardo Fernandes

# re: Register for Beta Exam 71-652: TS: Windows Server Virtualization, Configuring

Hi,

Done the report to MSLEDP@Microsoft.com!

The Test Center couldn't do nothing to then report to Prometric, they said that was the first time that happen something like this!

But problems aside, from the questions i could done, i could say the exam is quite nice, simple, direct and technical, didn't find ambiguous questions or dubious, that's great!

Best Regards

I took the exam this morning.

No technical issues

The staff was great

The questions were (mostly) pretty straightforward.

I went through some of the elearning content but some more hands on experience probably would have served me well.

Good luck to all that take the exam.

That was an interesting exam.  When is the "gold" exam suppose to release (approximately)?  Last time I took a beta - results didn't publish until the day before the gold exam released.

Thanks for the heads up on the exam - taking the beta is alot of fun, and a great way to learn (googling and playing with a product is more fun that traditional studying anyway)

Is there a minimum age limit to sit Microsoft exams?  I remember years ago there was a 14 year old MCP.. Its cool Greg your getting your son into it but I think there should be a minimum age of say 18yrs old otherwise I think it lowers the value of the certification...

Wednesday, July 02, 2008 6:19 AM by Packetboy

# re: Register for Beta Exam 71-652: TS: Windows Server Virtualization, Configuring

To explain further the reason why I think it lowers the value of the cert is because its pretty obvious that anyone under that age has had no commercial experience with the product...

Genially, i want to to speak about Transformers 2 action movie. I watched it yesterday in Imax, and was very impressed. from the first minute till the end this action really takes your breathe. Sure, huge money spent on this amazing action, such great producers worked on it, all this computer effects... And ofcourse, Megan Fox... What do you think about this movie, did you like it? Your favorite scene? How do you think will be there 3 part, and about what?
