Introducing Master Pages

Master pages are one of my absolute favorite features of ASP 2.0. A master page is a template that is used to define the overall look and feel of an ASP.NET Web application. In previous versions of ASP.NET, this problem was somewhat solved by embedding user controls across pages. However, using Master pages this becomes almost a trivial task.
